My Love For Her

Today is a nice and wonderful day for me and her. We went out together around 9.30am. We went to MacDonald at Eurospar. Both of us enjoyed the MacDonald special breakfast set, consists of a burger with egg and pork. I had a cup of orange juice whereas I ordered for her a cup of chocolate drink. I gave her a treat for the breakfast. We spent around 1 hour enjoying our breakfast while chatting in MacDonald.

Around 12pm, both of us went to Real. There are quite a lot of people in Real today as it is weekend. I accompanied her to survey some beautiful gowns from one shop to another shop. I enjoyed the moment spent with her.
After that, we went to have a light refreshment at the food court in Real. I bought a banana and strawberry cocktail for her. It tastes delicious. I also get myself ice-cream and some drinks. Half an hour later, we departed back to our hostel.

Around 5pm, I went to the kitchen to prepare the dinner. I prepared 3 dishes for the dinner, namely Bak Ku Teh soup, fried vegetable with egg and sausages. I also prepared sweet-sour prawn for the dinner. It took me less than 1 hour to finish cooking everything. After that, I called her to my room for dinner. We took our dinner together happily just now.

I am very glad that I have spent a wonderful moment with her during this weekends.
I love you very much..

You hold my hand,
I kiss your lips,
You look into my eyes and my heart beat skips.
I stroke your back skin so soft and smooth,
I admire your face, every line, every groove.
We move in a little closer,
our bodies entwine,
you touch my neck,
it sends shivers down my spine.
You whisper that you love me and I know it's true
because I feel it in my heart and I love you too.
All the best to our relationship ahead..
I believe God will bless our relationship all the time...

Fake Love Farewell

We have the difference,
We cant deny it..

We have the difference,
Difference in our origin..

We have the difference,
Difference in our tongue..

We have the difference,
Difference in our background..

We have the difference,
Difference in our age..

We have the difference,
Difference in our future vision..

We have the difference,
Difference in our interest field..

We have the difference,
Difference in our future settlement..

The only similarity that we possess,
Is we believe in the same God..

Farewell to our fake love..

Nursing Practical In Cardiac Centre

Yesterday, I went to the Dean Office to meet the Vice Dean, requested her to change my practical group. She granted my wishes immediately and placed me in Group 231 F. Now I'm in Group 231 F, which consists of only 6 students including me compared to my previous group, Group 231 O which consists of 9 students altogether. Frankly, I feel much better to be in a smaller group as it might be more conducive for studying and carrying out practical works for medical students. According to them, actually the maximum number of students in each group should not exceed 7 students for a medical academy so as to enable the students to gain the maximum benefits in every practical classes. At the same time, It's good too as I still can exchange study materials from my previous groupmates since we are getting different lecturers.

Today is my first day in Group 231 F. My group consists of 6 medical students including me, in which all of them are government scholars except me. I feel quite proud that I am the only private student who have the chance to be in same group with them. There are 2 JPA chinese girls (Jen Nee and Sheue Li), 2 Ministry of Defence Scholars (Rahman and Dave) and 1 Mara Scholar (Amir). All of them are very studious and hardwoking students and excel in their studies. Well, it is good anyway as we are future doctors and we must acquire ourselves with the unlimited knowledge and practical skills to serve the public health next time.

This morning, we went to Nizhny Novgorod Cardiac Centre for our nursing class. At first, our lecturer, Dr Marina Viktorovna Pichugina gave us some notes regarding patient care and nursing skill to copy. After that, we are brought to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Cardiac Centre. Basically, all the patients who have just undergone cardiac surgery are placed in this ward. They are given special attention and care from the nurses as their life might be at risk at anytime even though the cardiac surgery previously is considered successful. I felt quite pity as I saw some patients in the ward are even babies of few months only, suffering from heart puncture or heart failure. More than 10 electrode wires are fixed on the babies bodies and is closely monitored by some medical devices. The limbs of the babies are also being tied up for safety purpose in case the hands or legs of the babies might be pulling off any electrode accidentally. The reason is any electrode which is pulled off unexpectedly will cause the death of the babies. Moreover, I also saw some elderly people in the ward. Some of them are still in unconsious condition whereas some of them are able to talk already after the cardiac surgery. The major problem faced by the elderly people are myocardial infarction and heart failure.

Later on, Dr Marina Viktorovna Pichugina also briefed us about all the drugs and medical equipment that are normallly used in a cardiac ward, for example, aspirin, diuretics, defribillation, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) and the like. We learned and gained a lot of knowledge from her. We adjourned at 10.35am.

This is one of the practical lessons from which I gained a lot of new knowledge. =)

Room 205-Fully Furnished

Today I am quite free as I finished my class quite early. My first lesson is nursing practical class at Privolzhski Akruzhnoi Medical Centre. We reached there around 8 am only to know that our lecturer, Surgeon Buyanova is having medical conference with all the surgeons of the Surgery Department to discuss about patient case reports. We are left in the classroom until 9 am. We started our lesson at 9 am, listening to Surgeon Buyonova teaching us how to write a case report. Unfortunately, we are not be brought to the Operation Threate (OT) today as some of my groupmates did not bring along their face masks and a change of footwear. We adjourned around 10.30am.

In the afternoon, I went to find the 5th hostel commandant in order to furnish the room (room 205) for the 2 coming juniors, Lim Li Chin and Jona Yong. The commandant, Vera Aleksevna is kind enough to approve my request of getting another study table and chair for the juniors. I moved the study table and chair into the room. Later on, I also asked another mattress from her. She granted my wish. Moreover, she also gave me 2 bedsheets, 2 pillows and pillow case, 2 winter blanket and 2 bed comforters. I was very happy as I successfully requested from the commandant 2 brand new pillows and bed comforters for the juniors. I brought all the things to the room. I rearranged the furniture in the room so that it is pleasant enough to be stayed by 2 people. Then, I arranged the bedsheet, bed comforter, pillow and the like on the bed. I experienced the duty of a hotel room service person-in-charge. It is very fun and interesting anyway. =)

Furthermore, I also requested another light bulb from Vera Aleksevna as one of the light bulb in the room is not functioning. Subsequently, I changed the light bulb in the room by fixing on the new light bulb. I thanked the commandant as she granted all my request. Last but not least, Vera Aleksevna also reminded me to bring the 2 juniors to meet her in her office on 25th September (Friday) morning in order to do their hostel cards. =)

In a nutshell, I feel glad that at last all my responsibility as a senior is done perfectly for the coming juniors to Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy.

Hari Raya & Eid al-Fitr In Russia

Yesterday was a nice and happy celebration for the Malays as they celebrated Hari Raya. Some of the malay students over here had open house and prepared a lot of nice food for their friends.

Around noon time, Victor, Liong and me went to pay a visit to my groupmate, Liyana hostel. She prepared a lot of nice food for us such as mee, chicken, ketupat, chocolate cake, rolled cake and the like. Each one of us enjoyed the food very much. After that, we also visited Aisyah in 5th Hostel. Once again we ate a lot of nice food. The curry chicken was really very delicious as it was not spicy. We even brought some rice and curry chicken back to our room. =)

During the night time, the 3 Maldivians in my group also invited us to their hostel as they celebrated Eid al-Fitr (End of Ramadhan). It was a good party with a lot of food and drink being served. I only ate a little bit as the food is quite spicy for me. Anyway, we had a nice moment during that night with photograph session and listening to soft music.

Russia Starts Testing Anti Swine Flu Vaccine

ST. PETERSBURG, September 10 (RIA Novosti) - Clinical tests of a live swine flu vaccine started in the northwest Russian city of St. Petersburg on Thursday.
The Influenza Research Institute received the A/H1N1 strain for vaccine research from the World Health Organization (WHO) on May 12.
"Today we are starting research to evaluate the safety and efficiency of a live viral vaccine," said Marina Stukova, chief researcher for molecular virology and gene engineering at the institute.
She said the research, including inactivated vaccine tests to be launched after September 18, should be completed in November.
The tests will be closed to the press. The first stage to last 31 days will involve 30 volunteers. They will spend about a week in hospital, and will later have to make several visits to the research institute. The second group to receive the live virus vaccine will be tested for 42 days.
The new vaccine will also be tested in Sergiyev Posad, 75 km northeast of Moscow, so a total of 60 volunteers will be involved. Each of them will be paid 10,000 rubles ($320).
Alla, 25, a charity fund employee, told a RIA Novosti correspondent she was motivated by the need to help people.
"Our fund works with children, and I have my beliefs," she said.
A 19-year-old physics student, Nastya, said she was mostly motivated by the reward, but also said she would dedicate her thesis to the issue.
Eduard, aged 48, who also volunteered for research at the same institute in the mid-1990s, returned.
"If I can help society and earn some money at the same time, why not?" he told RIA Novosti.
As of August 26, 211 people have been diagnosed with swine flu in Russia. There have been no reported deaths, while more than 3,200 people have died from swine flu worldwide, according to WHO data from last week.

My Weekend

Today is Saturday. I have no class. I am away from my busy study life, preparing for classes each night, studying for controls and the like.

I woke up around 10.30am this morning. After taking my morning bath, I took my breakfast cum lunch. Then, I took the key along with me and went down to Room 205. Firstly, I rearranged all the furniture in the room so that there is a place to put the study table when it is available. After that, I cleaned the room with vacuum cleaner. Then, I borrowed a mop from my friend and mopped the room. Finally, the room looked clean and at least it is pleasant for the coming juniors.

Guess what I do next??

A good and friendly 3rd year senior, Hui Wei (a.k.a Ah Gui) helped me to do facial. LOL =) She is quite talented as she know how to cut hair and do facial. According to her, she learned some facial skill from her cousin who is a beautician. =) Firstly, she helped me to clean my face with cleanser. Then, she applied some scrub on my face in order to remove all the dirts. After that, she put the mask on my face and I was let to rest for almost 30 minutes. I dont really know how long is it as I dozed off unexpectedly. LOL. Lastly, she put moisturizing toner for me and skin smoothing cream. My face looked clean and more fresh after her effort. =)

Dermalogica Facial Product. Hui Wei also taught me how to use it since I have no idea of how to use it even though I possess it.. LOL

Thanks a lot Hui Wei for your facial service today yea..

Ray appreciated it a lot .. =)
